Project Details:
Every year, the Chancellor emails a holiday greeting that is sent to students, alumni, faculty and staff. For the year 2020, coloring pages were also sent out with this greeting as a way to bring Carolina cheer into people's homes during a time when everyone was attending class or work virtually, while also providing a fun and stress-relieving activity. For this project, I art directed and illustrated six Carolina and winter-themed coloring pages. Specific illustrations include:
• Snow globe showing the UNC campus;
• Cardinals with winter foliage;
• Pattern with snow flakes and the Old Well;
• Holiday cookies and treats;
• Fair isle patten featuring the athletics logo; and
• Rameses, UNC's mascot.
