Project Details
Hope Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 foster-based dog rescue that was established in 2013. When they were initially founded, they had a logo created, but much had changed with the organization since then, and an overall refresh was needed to reflect who they are today. I started by developing a brand positioning statement, mission/vision/values, and tagline. Guided by these elements, I created a logo and brand with the goal of appearing welcoming for adopters, volunteers, and donors. I then redesigned their most used marketing materials, such as their website, rack cards, and business cards.

Brand Positioning Statement
Hope Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in North Carolina.
We take in and rehabilitate dogs that need help the most, including those with medical and behavioral needs, seniors, and breeds that are discriminated against. Once in our care, the dogs are placed in our network of foster homes in Durham, North Carolina and surrounding areas. There they receive medical care, basic training, and lots of love until they are adopted.
With the goal of keeping dogs in their homes, we also run a community outreach program to help dog parents care for their animals during times of hardship.
We receive no government funding and rely completely on donations to carry out our lifesaving work.
To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned dogs in North Carolina that need help the most, while assisting members of our community in helping them to care for their dogs and keep them in their homes.
To create a community where every dog has a home, and every person who wishes to provide a loving home may do so regardless of age, race, gender, or socio-economic status.
Compassion, Fun, Community, Gratitude, Dedication, Teamwork, and Integrity
Every dog deserves a chance.
