Project Details
When the Robert B. House Undergraduate Library celebrated their 50th anniversary, and I was tasked with designing a logo, brand, and print materials to mark the occasion. The Undergraduate Library is a space for innovators on campus, and the client wanted the brand to showcase that instead of looking back to the past. With that in mind, I created a youthful, energetic logo that would represent innovation and appeal to the general undergraduate population. The patterns within the logo and in the brand were inspired by architectural elements of the library, since they are distinct and allow this library to distinguish itself from other libraries on campus. A color palette was created that complements the main University brand, while having additional bold colors that allow it to stand out on campus. The logo and brand were then used to create materials for the library throughout the year.
